Fractional Marketing
Flexible marketing support without the cost of a permanent overhead.
Establishing and expanding marketing support within your business is easier and more affordable than you may think. This is thanks to fractional marketing.
Whether it’s a one-off piece of work or regular marketing leadership and delivery, I provide cost-efficient access to marketing.
Fractional marketing, marketing consultant – they’re the same thing, aren’t they?
Well, not exactly.
The two terms have differences that are useful to understand when considering the type and level of marketing you require. For example, you may need a mix of both as your business grows and its demands increase.
Whatever you choose, I’ll make sure it’s the right service for you without the need for costly long-term retainers.
Fractional marketing
Fractional models are popular for businesses requiring leadership and support without the cost of employing permanent members of staff. It’s often used in a number of departments including IT, HR and finance. Similarly, the same benefit applies to marketing.
With this approach, you pay for a fraction of my time (hours/days/weeks/months) and receive a consistent level of marketing support.
Furthermore, my small businesses experience means I understand the need to offer a combination of strategic leadership plus execution of the plan. In other words, you really are investing in actions not just words.
From the outset, both parties agree an initial set of roles and responsibilities and the time required to deliver on these.
Marketing consultancy
Maybe you have a specific piece of work that requires external marketing support for a fixed period of time. For instance, it could be developing a value proposition, or organising an event.
Alternatively, you might need help in creating the entire marketing strategy for an internal marketing executive, or equivalent, to deliver.
This support could be required as a one-off or multiple times within a year. In such cases, I will quote for the project and agree on timelines for delivery. That way, you can be certain you are getting value for money and the outputs you need at the end.
However, if you are at the stage of needing on-going, but not full time marketing leadership and delivery, then fractional marketing may suit you better.
